BLUAI is an Antwerp-based indie-pop trio consisting of Catherine Smet, Mo Govaerts and Caitlin Talbut. Blending indie folk influences with alternative pop songwriting the project first took shape in Catherine’s bedroom but in 2021 BLUAI officially emerged as a full band, translating those intimate beginnings into a collective sound defined by shared musical influences. Their debut ‘Save it For Later’ led to widespread national airplay and festival appearances at Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and Lokerse Feesten. At the same time, BLUAI expanded internationally through the European and UK showcase circuit earning them the “band to watch” mentions in Rolling Stone UK and The Independent. With a steadily growing presence on stages and airwaves, BLUAI represents a new generation of Belgian artists building their trajectory step by step. Locally grounded, internationally minded, and focused on longevity rather than momentum alone.
