In 2024, Worldpeace DMT dropped the debut EP Brass Invaders, which cracked open the eclectic, zany and exciting world of Leo Fincham. With the debut album The Velvet Underground and Rowan released last year, Leo enlisted friend and collaborator Rowan Please of The Femcels to join the band, which brought forth a whole new layer to the project. With The Velvet Underground and Rowan, Worldpeace DMT created what Pitchfork described as “a brilliant and irreverent underground pop album.” Earlier this year, Worldpeace DMT shared the music video for the song “Love Yourself,” which appeared on their 2025 debut album, and teamed up with Bassvictim for the collaborative track “Year of the Dragon.” A surprise release of their new mixtape Flowers Powers in August arrived alongside the official announcement of their anticipated sophomore album Stick Around For Tea, set to arrive this October.
