virgin orchestra is a band from Reykjavík that combines post-punk with experimental soundscape, dreampop and noise. They have been attracting attention in Iceland and throughout Europe after their 2023 debut ‘fragments’ released via the Icelandic label Bad Taste/Smekkleysa, followed by their EP release ‘Let It Burn’ in 2025. As they have been gaining a ground with music appearing in local and UK TV series, they have started recording their third album with the first single planned for a release by mid-2026, followed by a UK and Europe tour in July.
